Transmission: 700R4 Auto

Cruise Control not functioning correct

The cruise control in my 88 T/A has a problem. I set the cruise and when I have to brake and the cruise kicks out, I cannot resume the previously set speed. Can anyone help?

inspect the turn signal/winshield wiper/cruise control arm very closely. it is very likely the culprit behind your problems.

At least your cruise works. I pulled mine out. So ive never known how it works.
