Every time I puch in my cig lighter I blow my radio fuse. What's up with that?

sounds like the cig lighter is shorting out not sure what to do thought sorry(thems fanci elektroniks aint my thang!! )

fuse to handle cig lighter should be maybe a 20 amp. if you have a 5 amp (or even 10), you will pop the fuse if the lighter is wired to the radio fuse
