Anyone have any theft deterrent kill switch ideas?

Engine: 5.7 TPI; 5.0 TBI; ZZ4/T56 on the ag
Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
Anyone have any theft deterrent kill switch ideas?
Besides alarms, etc. I've heard a few instances of guys using the lighters and such but I was wondering if anybody has actually done this to their car. I've already lost a truck once, don't want to do it again. Thanks.

Car: 91 Red Sled
Axle/Gears: 10bolt Richmond 3.73 Torsen
I have a good one that nobody would ever think of. It has to do with tapping into the gear position wires. The whole bunch of white wires. Unplug the harness and try and start the car. It won't because the ECM doesn't know if you're in drive or park. Very easy starter disable without tapping into fuel pump.
