Hi, i have a pair of after market fog lights and hooked them up the right way, but the right way is having them come on only when the headlights are on. they have a switch on them as well, but my question is, is there a way i could have them come on by themselves without the headlights using their switch? how could i hook this up? thanks.

 

The wire you have going to the parking lights is like a turn on switch. The fog-light switch only works when this wire is receiving 12v by having the headlights on. If you take the wire you have going to the parking lights and splice it into a constant 12v source you will be able to turn on your lights without having your headlights on. The easiest thing to do is just tap that wire back to the constant 12v from the battery. Normally on after market fog-lights this is the red wire that has an inline fuse on it.
