Blown fuse twice in a row

The fuse on my '87 Iroc has blown twice in two days. It's the fuse for the power locks and overhead console dome light and map light. Any ideas why it's blown twice in a row?

CATW,

Check the cigarette lighter and socket. It's easy to lose small items in there, like coins and gum wrappers.

Do what he said, My Cig Ligher is all rusted up. When I have the lighter in it (just in, not on) it blows the "acc" fuse.

I think it was the cig lighter. When i took it out, I saw an arc between the cig lighter and the cig lighter socket. From now on my cig lighter is going to stay in the console.

Your lighter will still work for accessories so all I did was take the cig lighter and unscrew the metal part. I wrapped some electrical tape to take up some slack and put the plastic part of the lighter back in the hole. NOT A PRETTY WAY OF DOING THINGS!! You can't tell I did it and it plug the hole so it worked for me.
