Got a problem with the turn signals.....

I got an 85 trans am and i got a problem with the turn signals....first of all the right arrow on the dash is always lit, second when i turn the left signal on the back right light goes on and the front left doesnt go on at all....when i turn the right signal on the back does nothing and the right front does go on...also the right parking light goes off when i turn the left signal on...i think something is gounded out somewhere....please help me...im confused

I believe that one of your signal lights, either front or sides, are kapput. Happened to me, I just about tore the whole electrical system apart, and then my dad checked the front signal bulb. Man, was I feeling like an *** .

Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Could be a bad column switch itself.
This area is where the left and right turns and brake lights come the closest to shorting together.

Another thing to check or just replace is the flasher can.

A signal that doesn't blink is usually just a burned out bulb, but the blinkers getting mixed seems very odd..
