Viper People/Alarm Installers, Anyone who might know this get in here!

Ok I have a viper 300 ESP, finally got most of it working I am trying to fix the starter kill right now it doesn't work. Here is what i have so far. I found a dangling orange wire coming from the Viper box, I also have a viper install manual it says it's part of the starter kill and from what i can tell it's supposed to hook up to a starter kill relay. There are two wires spliced into in my car a yellow and a pink, The yellow looks like they f'ed up and thought it was a starter wire it only puts out 1-2 volts not it so they twisted it back together in a ****ty fasion. The pink wire is the starter wire and puts 12V when the key is on run or cranking, and the yellow wire from the viper box is spliced into it. I tried touching the orange to this pink wire, car still starts, So what does this relay look like? That's what i guess the orange wire goes to, If anyone can help at all go ahead and post.

PS. The weird part was when the yellow wire that they messed up on is disconnected the car won't start? I don't understand it.
