I have an '89 Trans Am with only one headlight that will open. I have isolated the problem to the control module that mounts on the firewall (by turning the headlight connector over the other one works). I have tried a couple of modules from a junk yard (from a '92 and a '90) and neither headlight works. Rather than pay GM $150 for a new module I would like to fix the one I have. Does anyone have schematics for that module so I can fix it? Does anyone know if there is a difference between the modules for different years (why didn't either ot the other ones work)? Does anyone have a working module they would be willing to part with?
