I bought an IRoc... way cool, but the person before me got half way through swapping an 89 rs dash for the 86 iroc dash. Heres the thing, all i have is an empty space infront of the wheel and a lot of wires. Luckily none were cut. The first problem I have run into is setting the dash in correctly. I can get the passenger side in fine. The driver side seems to be blocked by either a wire or a bolt that i cannot see. What can i do to get it in right, anyone?

Also is there a website that shows the wiring diagrams, or anyone with pictures, seeing that its a different year, will I need to cut and splice or should the plugs all match up.

Btw most wires and their corresponding receptors are uncut.

 

I can't realy tell you how,I have done it on mine and all I can say is it is a pain in the *** .I did put the air vents on the dash first and put the driver side in first then just worked w/it till I got it in.Good luck
