Not to bust on ya or anything... but did you try your local Napa, AutoZone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc., etc...? They've got to have fifty different types of battery cables in those joints...

On the other hand if you absolutely MUST have an OEM one and the dealer doesn't have one, it looks like you're off to the junkyard.

<sigh> Sometimes I just wonder if these are trolls with questions like this...

steve, I work at advance auto and I did check at other stores. but the cable is no longer made for the 90 firebird. I'm sorry if you think I'm a dumba** but I did some checking around.

Really? Well, hog my hooter, my bust. When I swapped out all my battery cables and stuff (for the relocation to the rear) I used stuff that I got at Advance. Hmmm. Ain't I a turd. What's special about the '90 Bird? I mean, is there something different as to the way it's wired?

If it is a special component and you can't find it at the dealer, you're probably looking at boneyarding it. Did you try Dal at (800) 362-9494? He gives us a discount on parts - let him know you got his name off of the internet/message boards - and if he doesn't have it he can do a search of all the other dealers across the country to see if anyone does, then he can hook you up with one of those.

I didn't mean to come across as if you were a dumbass, I just wondered if you had tried it; sorry about that!

Since the connections are kind of standard, you could probably get one a little long, cut it, and crimp a new end on it if you wanted to. Just an idea.
