Alternator problem???

I just recently installed an aftermarket 110 amp alternator on my 92 Camaro. The problem now is as I accelerate, my lights blink as though I have a high watt sound system on my car. Anyone encountered this problem before??? By the way, it a Street Wire Alternator.
