Ignition woes
Ignition woes
For some reason, my car is very hard to start. However, this is rectified by just moving the wires at the rear of the engine bay(next to the heater coil), and jiggling the distributor cap. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like one of two things or both possibly causing your intermittent problem. Those wires that you are jiggling are they brown straps?? If so those are the ground straps at the back of the block. Make sure that they are secured to the firewall and then to a good spot on the block (preferably underneath the coil bracket). Nextly, I would check your HEI module ground, take off the cap and make sure that the two screws are snug on the distributor and while you're at it, make sure that your cap/rotor are clean. A fouled cap/rotor are sure weakness in the starting/idleing areas.
