ok I just bought an 89 Iroc 350 TPI L98 ..... anyway i got it home, and went out that night opened the door and the dome light didnt come on, i figured it was burned out but then i tried using the power hatch release to open the hatch to install the new shocks, and it wouldnt pop, so i look down on the floor, and theres a 20amp fuse laying there, i pick it up and put it in the fuseblock, and the lights come on, and the hatch release works, but then i jump in and close the door and the lights stay on........................
This is where i need help: I was thinking that it was either one of the door switches, or the light control switch. Because if you rotate the light control switch then it turns the dome lights on correct?

Oh ya, then i was looking where the spare tire is supposed to be, and there is a wiring harness connector laying there, i traced the harness and it went back up into the wall be were the rear passenger side passenger would sit, any ideas on what this harness is?

 

well see if the door switches are being pushed in all the way, do it by hand

and getting to the switch behind the dash really is a pain so start with the doors first
