Is 1998 camaro. blows f9 interior fuse block. says its for gauges. disconnected dash gauge asy still blows fuse.

Fuse f9, 10amp, inside fuse block blows when trying to start.

Is running light module located behind radio.

with emergencg brake did not blow
lights switched on with switch before trying to start did not blow.

find module disconnect did not blow

 

Norm, there's a LOT of things that go through that guages fuse - the air select valve, the canister purge solenoid valve, the air diverter valve, the egr solenoid, the defogger, the convenience center audio alarm assmbly, the brake switch (auto only) the multi function lever, and of course the guages. Whew. So you could have a short in any of those things. Good luck.
