cant find where this wire go's

it's a tan single wire with a black rubber boot female sloted end come's off the same harness as the coil wires. 1988 trans am 305 tbi please help me

Can't be sure but it sounds like the oil pressure sending unit connector.

no i looked unless there is 2 sending units the one i have is on top of the intake behind the dis. cap

there is a pressure switch (2 prong) and sender (1 prong) back in there. Is the slot for the prong off center in the rubber cap on that connector?
