Please Help!!!my Radio Is Possesed!!!!!!!!
sometimes when i go down the road my factory 88 formula stereo just changes channels by itself! also, when it works properly, wich is 75% of the time i notice it goes from fm stereo to just stereo and the reception kinda fades out, but not alot. i can turn my radio off and on and hear a clicking sound from somewhere, it sounds like its coming from under the pass. side dash. any info would be helpful. tia

well i noticed today that it mainly happens when i go down bumpy roads, indicating there is a loose wire somewhere! between this radio and these damn firebird headlights, i am gonna pull my hair out. its my first firebird, always had camaros!!
Definitly sounds like something is loose.
I would just put in a new one. If you havwe never done it, it is relatively easy.
The easiest way is to buy the wireing harness that just pluges into your factory harness.
Also buy the mounting kit.
I love CD players so, any vehicle I get always gets a cd player.
The mounting kit and wiring harness shouldn't be more than 20 or 30 bucks.
You should be able to pick up a decent pioneer CD player for like 170 brand new.
It's not to expensive and sounds alot beter than the stock system.
