tpi cold start vavle

The shop manual says to wire this into the starter solenoid, can I instead wire it into my key or accossory power?

The cold start injector should only be powered during engine crank. The "start" power goes through a thermal / delay switch, mounted at the front of the intake manifold, which turns off after a period of time, if cranking time is excessive, and turns on only below a certain coolant temperature.
