I have a 85 Firebird S/E with a 350 in it in case you need to know what type of car I have.

Anyway whenever I turn on the heater or the a/c I hear this weird noise whenever I am stopped.Its hard to describe but its like errrrrrrrrrrr and then whenever I start going again it stops but then as soon as I stop it kicks in again and goes errrrrrrrrr.

Anybody have any ideas what the problem is?

 

i have a 90' camaro that the A/C compressor went out on and it made asquealing noise before it went out,have it checked soon because the pulley on mine fell completely off.....
