COLD START VALVE

COLD START VALVE

HOW CAN I CHECK TO SEE IF MY COLD START VALVE IS WORKING? I HAVE A 1985 Z28 TPI 305
CODE F ENGINE. THE FIRST TIME I START IN THE MORNING IT STARTS HARD. AFTER IT IS WARM IT STARTS INSTANTLY.PLEASE HELP!!!!

Engine: 305
Transmission: Richmond 6 Spd
Axle/Gears: Moser 9", Detroit Locker, 3.70
With the engine cold, the CS injector should receive power while cranking the engine, for a period of time determined by the cold start injector control switch on the front of the intake manifold. With the motor cold, use a volt meter to measure the voltage a the CS injector plug while cranking the motor.
