Hey guys i need your help. Some wierd **** is going on with my 88 maro(v6). this is what happened after my other post "something wierd" anywayz, last night when i was coming home form work the same **** happened, my car felt like it was going to die and my rpms rose like crazy. my lights flickerd and ****. what the hell is up? im running only the radio and it does it. I have the factory 85 amp alternator but not the factory battery. I cant stand that. At first i thought it was the alternator(havent got it checked yet) or the battery. If some one ever had this problem or can give me some advice i would appreciate it. thanx.

 

well... lights going off/ car dying - not enough power... the car obviously could run off the battery but for a very limited time. Its possible ur car IS running off the battery and your alternator is sometimes charging or something like that... pull the alternator and have it checked
