wierd problem

Last night when i was heading towards the mall. I had only my fog lights on,(88 maro V6) and then all of the sudden my gauge lights start to flicker and my car seem like it wanted to die. whats up with that? I have my fogs running off the fuse block instead of the battery itself. Is that the resaon for it? or is it something else? Also when i dimm the gauge lights and then i try to make them brighter they stay off for a second and then come on. Please help.

You mightt try one of two things for this. There are two cirit breakers in the fuse box if one is going out they will do some realy wird things. As for the problem with the dash lights that sounds like you need to replace the lightswitch. Be warned that that is a real pain.

what's going on? i work at a chevy dealer and i also have the same problem. check with your local dealer, have them pull bullentins from si2000(computer progam) on your car you should find a relay that you will need to replace to correct this problem. good luck
