There are two white wires going to one side of the primary winding of the coil & two pink wires going to the other side of the primary winding of the coil. The large pink & small white wires that go to the coil from the under hood harness are for ignition power and the tachometer, respectively. The small pink and small white wires that go from the coil to the ignition module in the distributor are to supply ignition power to the distributor module, and the output of the ignition module to the coil, respectively.

maybe i should have been more specific. i have ripped out the stock harness and put in a dfi harness, now i have found out through one reply so far that the pink wire (i have a pigtail on coil with gray connector) goes to the pink wire coming out of the drivers side firewall which is ignition power. the smaller white wire i have no clue where it goes. i have the end that goes to the distributor allready plugged in. so what i need to know is... on the pigtail i have, there is a white and pink wire (pink goes to ignition power) where do i run the white one? is it tach signal pickup or is it just a ground or what , i am confused please help!
