Vss Buffer, where is it?

I have to replace mine this weekend some time before the rain gets here. I know it is behind the dash panel, but how far back? I know I have to take out my guages and junk but whut else has to come out?

It's attached to the back of the gauge cluster. Don't take out the gauges individually, just remove the housing (two speed nuts).
