My speedometer quit working a while back and the car is not putting out any codes that it has a bad sensor, I took out the sensor (electronic no cable) and spun it with a drill motor while I had a digital volt meter hooked to it, and it showed low readings in volts and amps that would go plus then minus over and over again, does anyone know if this is normal??? A mechanic friend of mine looked at it and said it didn't feel right when he spun it by hand at that it was more than likely bad. But if it was bad wouldn't the computer throw a code???
