1LE L98 oil pressure??

Real quick, my oil pressure guage reads right around 60psi 95% of the time even under normal driving conditions...I had Midas change my oil last time because I was in a rush and didn't have time. I'm getting ready to go Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic...should I expect a drop in pressure? 60 seems kinda high if I'm not stompin on my car.

Its possible your oil pressure sending unit is bad and not reading correctly, or the gauge is off.

I actually took a closer look around the valve covers and intake manifold. On the drivers side there is some oil collecting...look to be coming from either aroudn the PCV valve or valve cover on the drivers side. SO, would it the oil ports possibly be clogged?? The car has 24K miles on it and has had 3K changes. I was given all those by the previous owner.??

Since I've rebuilt my motor,, my oil pressure is +60psi, reading the same using my old sensor or new, there's nothing really wrong with having high oil pressure,, it's better actually.
