where can i put a wire through my fire wall from inside my 92 z28

where can i put a wire through my fire wall from inside my 92 z28

im wiring up some illuminating gas and brake pedals and was wandering can i send the wire through the fire wall and were is the best spot to put the switch

Why don't you just get the power from the fuse panel? An ignition circuit would be good, so that the pedals would go dark with the key off. Or connect them to the tail light circuit, so that they are on whenever the lights are on.

All of that wiring is already under the dash.

Word of wisdom..why make something light up that your feet are going to be covering. Just do what I did..use neon highlighting cables and blacklights...rocks when you are rollin through town..:P

But yes, he was right about those circuits. It all depends on when you want them on.

i agree that you should tap into the circuits already in the car less mess under the hood.

but if you must their are at least two main holes located on the firewall on either side of the car; both having rubber grommet type covers that can be easily removed so that you can pass a wire through.
