Plugs and Wires for 305 TPI

I already searched, b/c i hate asking questions if they're already answered...but since i found no answer, can someone recommed the best spark plugs and wires for my car... The ignition is all stock... Should I bother changing anything else while i'm at it? Do i want 90* boots or straight boots?
Thanks a lot,
Mike

Bosch Platinums are truly excellent plugs and there are a lot of folks here who use them. Some others prefer plain old ACs.

I have Hooker Shorty headers and I have to use 90* boots at the plug with them. I can't say if TES are the same or not.

Try to get the spiral wound style of wires, as they offer ultra low resistance to the spark energy and have no radio frequency interferance issues that I know of. Brand is not overly important, although some people really dislike Accell for some reason.

You will need the 90* boots. I use Accell wires, and haven't had any problems. Hope I helped a little.

One last thing; try to get a coil that will put out in the 45 to 50,000 volt range. This is 10 to 15,000 volts more than the stock setup from GM and makes a real difference.

I just changed mine on my HEI ignition to a Proform 50,000 volt unit and WOW!!! It smoothed my idle down and increased my low end power, as well as extending my upper rpm limit. A tidy little improvement that eliminated a bogging problem I though was in the carb
