ALTERNATOR SWITCH
OK I've been reading High Tech again,has anyone installed one of these switches to disconnect the alternator instead of removing belt(not actually disconnecting it but disengaging it)how do I do this ? ?

Not a good idea if you have EFI. If you've got a carb, fine, it doesn't care. EFI needs the extra voltage. There is a stock program built into your ecm that does funny things when the voltage drops below a point.
There is a tech article on the GNtechboard that shows you how to raise or lower your voltage by "tricking" the alternator into thinking the voltage is higher or lower that reality. This will vary your voltage
