Check engine light

My 88 Sport Coupe 305 TBI (150K miles so far)is showing a check engine light. But only in overdrive and only after letting off the accelerator. The ALDL doesn't seem to be storing this code. Anyone have a similar problem?

I had the same thing happen to my car. The engine light came on when i was in overdrive and on the freeway but it has yet to come back on, but that might be because I have not been using overdrive. Im in college right now and cant really figure out whats wrong until either thanksgiving or christmas break. Search the boards, i read somewhere where people were having a similar problem and the problem was their EGR valve. But as of now, i really dont have a good idea whats wrong.
