Underdash harness...
is the wiring under the dash a seperate harness from the engine compartment aswell as the tail lights? im thinking of swapping mine out to eliminate any wires issues, cause when i got the car alot of wires were hacked up underneith. Has anyone done this? how long did it take? and was it hard?

You have to drop the whole dash and disconnect the dash harness from the engine harness. It is connected where the harness goes through the firewall on the drivers side. I would plan on this being a weekend project, though.
The engone harness and the tail light harnesses are connected to the dash harness by plugs. If you take the harness out of the donor car mark all of the connections so as to make it easier to install in your car.
I put a dash harness from a Z28 into a reg. camaro and was not that hard.
