yes , Don't laugh , but I have a radioshack brand .Its saved me plenty of times but I dont recomend it because the sound goes out to soon .Althought it might be from the HOT a$$ son hitting it , even sitting on the floorboard after i take it down . Wouldn't chance it .Im still using it cus the sound is not always out , it comes and goes , but stay away from it .I've heard the VALENTINE is one of the best , but YOU PAY for it I know that , it cost some cheese . Before I move this to electronics....i strongly suggest Cobra ESD-9850 or whatever is their new top of the line. Mine hits from like a mile back and sometimes I think it's false, but keep driving and sure enough, there he is. Saved me WELL over what I paid for it.

I have the new uniden with the digital compass that talks to you. I love nearly everything about it. the only thing I dislike is the beeping is three times as loud as the voice, which means that if you want to hear what the chick has to say about band specification, you have to get blasted. My old uniden was perfect in this respect, but this one sucks the crotch. I have the previously high version of the uniden that is awesome, but without the compass if you want to buy it cheap. Uniden lrd 6599 sws

 

dont bother with jammers, dont work those that do are exspensive and cant deter laser, and are illegal and very unworth risk...
