NO DATA AT ALDL HELP

ANY BODY HAVE AN IDEA WHY WHEN I TRY A TECH 2000 SCANNER WITH THE TPI ENHANCER I GET NO DATA GIVEN HAVE TRIED IT WITH ONE OTHER SCANNER SAME THING LET IT RUN FOR AN HOUR NO DATA BUT YET YOU CAN JUMP ALDL FOR CODES WORK FINE ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANX

Never heard of that scanner. You sure it isn't just ment to display error codes and that's it? How much did you pay for it.

THANX FOR REPLY IT IS FOR DATA STREAM IT IS A GMTECH UNIT USED BY GM COST 1200.00 HAVE TRIED A XRAY ALSO STILL NO DATA ANY IDEAS .......

I just worked on a car today with the same symptoms as yours. You can use a paperclip and get codes, but hooking up a scantool would get nothing. It turned out to be the ECM itself. I swapped it with another spare, and the problem was fixed.
