Air Fuel Ratio Gauge

Do any of you guys know how to install an Air Fuel Ratio gauge. I heard its easy, all you do is piggy back an oxygen sensor wire. Is this right?

That should do it. The gauge will also require a ground (ECM ground), +12 volts (gauges fuse), and dash light input.

Yep, just splice into the O2 sensor wire as close to the sensor as possible. Careful though. The wire may be brittle due to heat damage. It is a good idea to wrap it with aluminum tape or insulation. You'll have a +12v source and ground required as well.

Actually it's not necessary to attach the gauge input wire near the sensor - connection @ the ECM is OK, since it's not a balanced signal. It is a good idea, however, to connect the gauge sense ground to the O2 sensor ground @ the ECM for minimum noise, although the NB O2 gauges typically have a relatively slow response time, so noise will be averaged out.
