alternator

can the alternator from an '80 something gm 2.5 4cylinder fit on the '86 tune por...... a hundread amps and its free, thanks.

Most likely yes. After about late 86 early 87 GM switched over to the CS series alternator, prior to that it was the 10Si unit. If it appears to be physically the same as the old unit it should work fine.

as long as it hooks up the same and fits to the brackets and the belt looks straight and in line with the other pullies.. i say go for it.
