well its lookin cramped in the engine bay and the wiring for the v-6, which was in it before, needs to come out. my question is what can i take out? the engine that is going into it is a 383 stroker motor and has no computer or anything like that. its carbed engine and not electronic.

come on guys there has to be someone that can tell me if i can cut this big wiring harness that goes into the side of my car. i think it goes to the computer inside but this is the first computer controlled car i have had and i dont know if i need this stuff for my none computer controled engine or not. so can i cut it with out it doing anything to the interior controls or what?

I put an older rebuilt engine in my 82 Z28 and was able to cut out all the computer wiring that went in through the passenger side fender. Pulled the check engine light bulb in the dash because it stayed on. It still passed emissions here in Utah.

i'm still cutting out wiring that i find from my car too. it takes a while....i'm always finding more and more all over lol

 

its about 45 miles south of champiagn, yeah i got done cutting them all from the computer and all the dash works so hopfully i dont need them. its nice to get rid of that thing :lala:
