Turn Signal

For some reason the turn signal in my 88 bird decides to "blink continually" (i.e. not turn off) at random times. it doesn't seem to have to do with tempurature or how my wheel is turned. I also traced the circitry but i couldn't find the relay...anyone know what's up? It does work perfectly about 50% of the time. (i also checked to make sure that there were no surges in power with my sound system, and that was not a problem either.)

So....it stays on when you trigger the switch, or it just comes on all by itself? If it is the former, I would suggest replacing the switch.
