bunch of stuff not working
Ok, I just rebuilt my engine, and now half my gauges don't work. Specifically, my tach, volt meter, oil meter, and temp meter. My tach has always had problems so it might no be related to this. In addition to this my SES light won't come on when I turn the key, or my E-brake light (when it's engaged of course). What's missing? I'm pretty sure my fuel gauge still works, I haven't had a chance to test the speedometer. What's going on? I don't think it's the fuse either since I have 2 aftermarket gauges using the same fuse which are working fine.

well the first thing to check is if everything got plugged back in and hooked up correctly....temp guage to the sender in the drivers side of the motor, tach to the coil, oil pressure to the sender below the distributor, I dont remember where the volt guage draws from, are all the engine grounds hooked up? are all the connectors to the ECM connected? check your fuses anyway, cant hurt.

I've already checked the connections of the sensors, it's the locatoin of the grounds that I'm worried about. I'm not sure where they all are. I've been checking through the harness for little loops hanging out. I have a feeling I'm just missing one major one though. I'll keep checking.
