I have a 96 Olds 88 LSS that has an intermittant problem with the dashlights. All instrumentation including digital odometer dies when headlights are turned on. I originally though it was the dimmer control on the switch itself, changed the switch worked fine for a week and now its back to its old tricks.Could a bad ground cause this or am I looking at some other component in the lighting system.

 

had a similar prob on my wifes grandprix gt but unfortunately the gauge pod is sealed so i just got another pod from the junk yard for 20 bucks. dont know if thats your prob but it was mine
