That's some ****..my buddy has a '88 T/A 305 TBI that doesn't have VATS.Not saying you are wrong..you own the car..but I am curious to know if that was reserved for the highest optioned cars..GTA..IROC and such.Interesting fact!

I think that in 88, VATS was standard on GTAs and optional on regular Trans Ams, but don't quote me on that. I don't think Camaros got it at all until 89, but I could be wrong - I seem to remember reading that on this board someplace.

My 88 GTA has VATS, oh and Black88GTA, your car looks just like mine. Does yours have T-tops too? I can't see well in your picture. But it sure looks nice and clean, congrats!!!

Heh, thanks for the compliment!!
And to answer your question, no, unfortunately no t's
. What it does have though, is a crappy aftermarket sunroof that leaks a bit and whistles above 95 MPH - I think I need to reseal it. I'll have more pics soon though, I just got a digi cam for xmas. That's a really old pic, prolly late 1999 or early 2000. My car's still in the body shop from when it was hit in the parking lot, but as soon as it's out I'll clean it up and snap a few before putting her up for the winter.

I was finally able to get a picture uploaded, I hope it works. By the way, how do you include a picture in your signature? sorry if this is not the right place to ask that question.

Very Nice!! And you're right, our cars are very similar! In fact, I just changed my chrome wheel caps for black ones, cuz 2 of my chromies got stolen, and I got a good deal on a set of black caps.
To inlude the pic in my sig, I hosted it on my school web space, and linked to it. You have to host it on the web somewhere to include it.

Thanks man, I've done a lot of work on it (believe me) it didn't look NEAR what it does now. And it still needs a lot of body and interior work to be detailed. I'd love to paint the car to get a nice matching color all around and redo the interior. But I've also got an '81 Camaro with an '88 350 carburated motor that is in primer still. Regarding the picture in the sig, I was playing with that this afternoon and was able to include it in the thirdgen.org web site. Check it out!
