Two fans two relays is a must. ignition controlled operation of two fans is not necessary and will kill the alt and fans in short order. get a cooler fan switch and install it where the original one was. pass side bet cyls 6&8. tie both relay coils(one end of coil) together and then hook that up to the fan switch. the fan sw will easily handle two relay coils since they draw very little current. hook the rest of the connections up standard wiring. all you will do eliminate is ECM control of the primary fan(which you don't have) and let the fan sw take over for the control of BOTH relays. NAPA has two different fan switches for TG's and they run $19. One comes on at 220 and the other at 238. You can get cooler ones from JET. This will give you the cooling and give the electrical system a rest.

hmmm thanx for the replys.. i sorta figured it out already... but as far as the second reply.. the problem with that is im not really tryin to run over 180 degrees... i know its kinda wishful thinking in a 3rd gen but thats what the engine makes the most hp and torque at.. hotter it declines... need a better radiator.. but i need money 2...

wire the fans on all the time and see what temp you run at.. a low stat like 170 and fans on all the time should get you to stay at around 180..

You have other issues, I live in Pa and in cold weather with a 160 and average driving it stayed cold enough that it never really threw any heat with a 5.7 and the fans wired normally.

yeah i think its a mixture of heat issues really.. all the forged components give all a little extra heat.. crank, rods, pistons, etc... plus my ****ty headers arnt really doin it any favors... they WERE ceramic coated but from it sitting for a while they started to rust a tad and a lot of it is flaking off...
