tachometer interchangeability

tachometer interchangeability
What tachs interchange bewteen 3rd gens? Does engine size matter? Do Camaros and Firebirds have the same tach even though the cluster configuration is different?

yes engine size matters.
as far as the inner working to the tach, between camaro's and firebirds, i'm sure if you put a camamro v8 one in place of a firebird v8 one, it would work, but it probbaly wouldn't look right or fit anywhere lol
