Car wont start when engine is cold
I have a 85 camaro z TPI and when i go out to start it when the engine is cold it takes a long time before it will crank. I dont know if it is a bad fuel pump or what but when i checked for a code i got one that said low volts to fuel pump. Does anyone know what this means. Also i dont hear the fuel pump working when i go to start it, but after it starts it will work. So i am lost plz help

i have a similar problem. My pump won't prime when I put the key to run, but when it starts it will run, and if it stalls(i have other problems) i can hear it run for a couple seconds after stalling.
I think the relay is bad. I haven't been able to check yet.
