Car: 1987 Z28 Camaro
Engine: 305 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Cruise control not working?

My 87 camaro cruis control is not workin, when i bought it it did not work, hoever it has the unit and all, just dont work, what do i check to see what i need to do to it? and how do i fix it haha, im stupid at mechanic stuff, and any help will help, thanks

Had the same problem with mine, checked everything and it turned out to be the vacuum hose that goes to the Brake Pedal Switch/Valve at the top of the brake pedal, it had worked its way loose so i re conected it and what d ya know?, It worked again.

The wires that run into the turn signal stalk on the steering column often break on older general motors products. I've got a couple "pre-owned" spares around if you need one, they list for close to $100 at the dealer.
