Steering Column Wiring Help!
Steering Column Wiring Help!
Hey guys,
I'm currently in the process of completely redoing my car. I'm now replacing my old (horribly hacked up by moron previous owner) wiring harness with a new one from Painless Wiring (including teh fuse block and all). Anyways I was busy cutting out the old harness from the car and I accidentally cut these wires coming out from inside the steering column.
I would like to know if I have to recconect them if they are important. Anyway it was a line of 5 wires (pink, purpl, white, gray, and black I believe) molded together and going to a connector right outside the steering column. I am guessing this is for the horn (wires look to small to be ignition realted), but can anybody help me and tell me for sure where these wires are coming from?
Thanks,
-Max

Sounds like you chopped through your windshield wiper wiring.
The horn is just a single (green I think) wire.
