Electrical problem
I belive that my security system is causing me problems with my car. If i start my car and drive it for awhile and than shut it off a lot of times it wont start up right away. It doesnt even turn over, as if the security system were armed. Also my car will just be sitting there and for no apparent reason the alarm will just go off. I am curious if anyone has any ideas on what this might be and how i can fix it. THANKS

I know it isnt VATS because I have a small block 400 from 1976. It is carburated and there is no computer. Again I believe it is the security system but i am not sure, looking for any ideas. PLEASE HELP!
