Third Brake Light wiring

After I bought my 89 IROCZ I found out that somebody broke in and stole the radio few months earlier. When they broke in they destroyed the wiring under the plastic cover in the back. So I have figured out all the wiring for the trunk release and pull down motor. But I am still having problems with the Third Brake Light wiring I need to know where the "Striped Yellow Wire" connects, and I also have a "Black Wire" that goes somewhere. If you can tell me exactly how the Third Brake Light is wired up that would be great.

Somebody please take the time to look at your car for me Chilton Sucks.

Well...the yellow lead is the *hot* wire...and the black lead is the *ground*.....I would just splice into my exsisting brake light wires and ground it....should work fine...I have done it before..

yep, the yellow wire connects directly to the switch on the brake pedal assembly.
