Questions On Indash Wiring Harness.. PLEASE help!

Gm stopped making these and Aftermarket suppliers DON'T have them for "in dash".

So basicly I have two options right?

A. Re-run each and every wire and get a fusebox from a junkyard camaro.

B. Cut it about 2inches from the firewall undo all connectors and Cut what doesn't un-connect and then do the same on a donor camaro and then just put the donor harness in my car.

This is about it isn't it? Other than the gauges not working (The tach, speed, and fuel are all that work as it is now).

I'm just 16 I'm fairly good with running wires and stuff like that its just that nothing on this car electrical wise works right except the headlights and even then the lights are barely working ( the front end got side swapped and now sites a mere 2 5/8" over to the right.) I really want this car to be fixed I've tried all I know to try, and so far the wiring diagrams in the 4of my haynes manuals are good for nothing but a door stop since the colors don't match up anywhere and my cars wiring harness looks like a tornado hit it and a idiot tried to rip out an alarm system because he didn't wanna sell it (the last part is true, first part is a diagnosis :P)

If I don't get any help here, I guess i'm just going to take it upto the Gm place and tell them to fix it and just pay the 50/hr to have them do it and save me the trouble/headache.

I'm starting to think this car wasn't worth the $650 I paid for it, more problems keep coming up, it seems like I fix something and then something else breaks while it is in our shop.

Sorry if this makes no sense, I have been sick, staying uptill 3am working on my maro then back up at 6 and going to school and then working after school

Thnx in advance, sorry for my idiotcy,

Justin

Depends on what motor you have assuming you have an 89 Iroc i would assume you have a TPI motor but weither it is speed densisty or MAP sensor is beyond me i don't know your car but How about this give Jegs a call and they can assist you on ordering the right wiring harness. If you don't have the # it's 1-800-345-4545 hope this helps Kyle.
