Electric Fuel Pressure Gauge reads 100 psi

I finally installed my Electric Fuel Pressure gauge from AutoMeter today. I turned the car on, and the gauge immediately jumps to 100 psi an stays there. Everything else seems to be working, the light comes on when it is supposed to. Any ideas? I'm still running the stock pump and regulator... it can't really be that high. I think around 45 psi would be more realistic right?
