help with alarm

I need help with the wires on my new alarm/keyless entry. The instructions are not that helpful for the keyless entry portion of, i have three wires: a unlock pulse, lock pulse, and a 12 volt wire (hot all the time). where do i have to hook the 12 volt wire? i understand where to put the other two wires, but not the 12 volt wire.

I'm not sure about your specific alarm, but the one I put in mine, I actually ran a wire straight to the battery with an inline fuse.

a wire from the door unlock/lock wiring harness? i have a wire from the "brain" of the alarm with an inline fuse that goes to the battery and a seperate 12V ignition wire.
