alternator bearings

I go through alternator bearings faster than I go through Skittles. What's the problem? Seems like as soon as I get things put back together the new ones start whining. This is the second or third replacement set I'm on. I've taken care to install them pressing only on the appropriate race, I've bought bearings spec'd for high temperature, speeds in excess of what the alt spins, and they're double sealed to keep out dirt. Anybody have suggestions or wanna plug a particular bearing. I think I'm really reaching on this one, huh? It's not like carbs, intakes manifolds, or mufflers. People just aren't out to preach the glories of their bearings.

mmmmmkay....

How about this? I should look for bearings rated at a max rpm of around 15000 and temp of up to 250 deg F?
